Outside Albert Hall

On the evening of the 2nd July 2013, 40 Children from the Emerald Music School Choir provided the
opening performance at Business in the Community’s Responsible Business Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.  The performance of a special arrangement of ‘Pure Imagination’by David Harvey was a huge success – inspiring and moving and provided the perfect start to the evening.  The audience of over 1,000 guests was made up of Business Leaders, Parliamentarians and Community Leaders from across the UK, all working collaboratively to tackle  some of the most pressing social and environmental issues of our time.  The audience included the Prime Minister, David Cameron, who met the singers and described the performance as ‘exquisite’. The singers who were aged 6-17 also enjoyed meeting the hosts, James Corden and Joanna Lumley. It was a fantastic experience and a huge achievement for the school. The choir have already been booked for another corporate function at Kew Gardens in October 2013.
