Emerald Easter Concert 2017

TIMETABLE CHANGES

From 10th September at Emerald Purley, there will be some timetable changes. Flexiband will be 9.30-10.30am, Theory Class 10.30-11.30am, then Emerald Chorus will be 12-1pm and Chamber Choir 2-3pm. Clock House Choir starts back 4-5pm on 12th September and Osiris 7.30-9.30pm on 14th September.

CLOCK HOUSE CHOIR WIN SILVER MEDAL

OSIRIS ENSEMBLE AWARDED ‘OUTSTANDING’

The Osiris Ensemble gave a ‘Outstanding’ performance at the Sutton Music Festival. Described as a choir with attitude, adjudicator Peter Gritton even asked if he could join the choir! They  gave an energetic, vibrant performance including ‘Oleo’ – Ghana trad., ‘Memory’ from Cats – Lloyd Webber, Carol of the Bells and ‘Run’- Snow Patrol.  

SUMMER GARDEN CONCERT

The Summer Garden Concert was a slightly damp, but very musical event this year.  Luckily the rain held off during the performances from Emerald chorus, Clock House Choir, Chamber Choir, Osiris Ensemble and Flexiband followed by many wonderful solo performances. Audience were able to enjoy a lovely selection of cakes and cheeses.
